How large a file can I send?
Send files up to 100 MB without an account, or sign in to send files up to 500 MB. The server enforces the limit for your account status.
How long is my file kept?
You choose an expiry when you upload — from 1 hour up to 7 days. The file is deleted automatically when it expires, or once it reaches the download limit you set, whichever comes first.
Can I limit how many times a file is downloaded?
Yes. Set a download limit from 1 to 200 when you send (the default is 10). Once that many downloads happen, the link stops working and the file is removed.
Can I password-protect a transfer?
Yes. Add a password when you upload and the recipient must enter it to download. We store only a hash of the password, so make sure you share it through a separate channel — it cannot be recovered.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to receive files, use the tools, or send files up to 100 MB. Sign in to send files up to 500 MB and manage your transfer history.
Are the tools really free?
Yes. The compression, conversion, and editing tools run in your browser and are free to use, with no signup required.
Where are my files processed?
Shared files are uploaded to our server so the recipient can download them. Everything else — the compression, conversion, and editing tools — runs locally in your browser and never uploads your files.
